Delivering long-term &Â sustainable infrastructure projects
The BBF is a small charity and everything we have done has been in our free time, holding meetings in various kitchens late at night and learning as we go along, but it has worked and we have loved doing it.

One of our founding aims is to ensure that we try and give children the support they need to lead a normal life within their own communities. We therefore decided early on to concentrate on delivering infrastructure. It cannot be taken away and provides an environment that not only makes conditions better for the children but also the staff who in turn increase the value of their care.
It is hard to convince people who are paid a few dollars a week, if at all, to care for children who they see as having no future.
OUR PARTNERS
None of this could be done alone. Â Our most important partner was undoubtedly the local governments and ministries we worked with. However there were countless other individuals and organisations we were able to team up with, the most important of whom were the Anglo Azerbaijani Society and the European Union
ANGLO AZERBAIJANI SOCIETY
Lord Fraser and the Anglo Azerbaijani Society were great supporters of our work.  They were proud fundraisers for us at their official annual fundraising dinner.  Our sincere thanks go to Maragret Morris for her time, dedication and energy.
EUROPEAN UNION
the EU TACIS programme (Technical Assistance to the Commonwealth of Independent States) provided several programmes to Azerbaijan. Â We were not only able to deconflict, but also partner in providing a lift shaft for an EU lift, as well as using their cover to import items such as wheelchairs
