Welcome and thank you for visiting!  The pages in this website chronicle the journey of the Burnaby Blue Foundation, a charitable organisation dedicated towards promoting the relief of sickness, poverty and suffering and to promoting education amongst children and young people.  Please take a look and thank you again for your interest

The story of the Burnaby Blue Foundation started following a British Army expedition to Azerbaijan, conceived and led by Sacha Tomes.  One of the main aims of the expedition was to undertake humanitarian work and a significant amount of time was spent with the children at the Saray orphanage in Baku, Azerbaijan.  Inspired by the work that the expedition members were able to carry out and, realising how much more could be done, Sacha decided to create the Burnaby Blue Foundation in order to continue what had been started.  The charity has now completed over £150,000 of projects in Azerbaijan, Kenya and Lesotho
